The metal balcony floor will react to vinegar by undergoing a chemical reaction that causes it to corrode and form a greenish-blue patina. This is due to the acetic acid in the vinegar reacting with the metal, particularly if it is made of iron or steel. Over time, this reaction can cause the metal to weaken and deteriorate, leading to potential structural issues with the balcony. Therefore, it is important to avoid spilling vinegar or any acidic substances on metal balcony floors to prevent damage. **

Additionally, being on the 2nd floor can provide an added sense of security as it is harder for intruders to access compared to the 1st floor. **
